What Is This About

This is an event to introduce and create awareness on Raspberry Pi to the Cheras community. We do this by inviting speakers to "Show & Tell" projects they have done with Raspberry Pi.

In this session, we will:

  2. Showcase how to build a Robot Using Raspberry Pi
  3. Showcase how to build a Media Centre using Raspberry Pi for home entertainment
  4. Showcase how to build an audiophile-grade DAC Music Player using Raspberry Pi

As usual, light refreshment will be provided :)

  • Students thinking to build their project using Raspberry Pi
  • Pi Fans who are doing similar projects looking for inspiration or solution to a technical problem

About Us

We are a small group of Raspberry Pi enthusiast who would like to create a platform for the Raspberry Pi User community to learn, share and connect with each other through regular events we organize. The events are open to all regardless of age, background, competency level and location.

Why Are We Doing This

We want to promote Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Malaysia through the use of Raspberry Pi. We want to emulate the success of Raspberry Pi Foundation of UK in Malaysia in promoting computer science and related sciences education. We want to focus on educational and learning activities as the foundation that will lead to other causes. We do this because we care about improving education in Malaysia and we believe we Malaysians "Boleh !".

Events We Organize

We aim to organize regular events like "Show & Tell" talks, and "Hands-On" workshops at different venues around Klang Valle. We are not limiting ourselves to Klang Valley but this is our starting point. We recognize each individual or group have different needs and interest. Therefore, each event will be designed to focus on the needs or interest of a specific target audience group.
